Having a poor night's sleep can have many consequences, especially on your mood. If your quality of sleep is poor, it causes many brain and behavioral problems. Our body is designed to be in a horizontal position for at least 7 - 8 hours during the nighttime. Anything outside those parameters is a potential problem on the horizon. The brain needs sleep to restore, rebuild, and repair itself overnight. If we sleep these full 8 hours our body feels fully rested the next day. If we don't, our body feels tired, foggy, and our performance during the day won't be excellent.
